Can I add my Bed and Breakfast for free?
Yes by all means, you can signup your Bed and Breakfast for free without being charged an annual fee. It will be a bare bones listing but at least people can find you when they do a search.
What if I sign up for a paid listing but am unhappy with the service?
We offer a no questions asked 30 Day Money Back Guarantee on all of our listing plans. If for whatever reason you are unsatisfied with our service or feel that you are not getting your moneys worth we will be happy to give you a full refund within the first 30 days. Even if you choose to be refunded for your purchase you may still list your Bed and Breakfast in our directory as a free listing.
What kind of advertising do you do to increase traffic?
We have an ongoing aggressive marketing campaign to ensure that your business gets the maximum amount of visibility we can offer. We have several other high volume web sites that are linked to this site which maximizes the traffic. Paid submissions to search engines is one aspect of our advertising efforts, as well as perpetually scouting out recipricol link exchanges with complimentary online businesses and directories. Although we are relatively new we expect high search engine rankings because of our programming techniques that ultimately guarantee a high ranking in all major search engines. Great attention to detail goes into each and every page we submit on a regular basis.
How can I be guaranteed a top position in your directory?
Signing up for any of our paid listing plans offers you a position based on what the listing plan offers.
As soon as you sign up for a paid listing plan your listing will be placed in the plan position you signed up with. If you want the top position then you would likewise sign up under the Premium plan.
Can I sign up for free and then upgrade later?
Yes by all means, when you login to your control panel there will be an Upgrade Account link on the side menu for this exact purpose. If you are leary about signing up simply sign up for free and check us out, if you like what you see you can then uprade your account to whichever listing plan suits your needs.

What listing plan do you recommend for a small business?
It really depends on your annual advertising budget. By far the most value for the money is the Premium plan because it has a built in reservations form and all of your pages are submitted to the search engines which brings in additional targeted traffic directly to your business listing. At roughly .54 cents per day the Premium listing more than pays for itself over a years time. The other plans offer a great value for the money also but do not have many of the Premium features which ultimately bring in the most business.
Do you have any immediate plans for new features?
Yes we do! We will be adding new features on a regular basis to carve our niche in the Bed and Breakfast directory business. In almost all cases these upgrades will be a free addon tool for you to use. To give you an example we will be adding Virtual Tour uploading to the Premium plan very soon but the annual price will still stay the same. This is why we recommend the Premium plan because it will always be the first to be enhanced whenever a new suggestion or idea is implemented.
How does the reservation calendar system work?
You have the choice to use the reservation calendar in real time or not at all. From your control panel you can check off which dates are already spoken for with a click of a button. At that exact time anyone viewing your reservation calendar from the front end of the site will see that date is no longer available and is designated in red. From the visitors point of view they can click on any available dates on the calendar and then click the "Reserve" button which will create an online form for them to fill out which is automatically sent to you when they submit the form. An autoresponder Thank You message is automatically sent to them as if sent by you which acknowledges that they are requesting information from you. We do not contact your customer at all, we simply relay the information to you and keep track of your reserved dates (should you wish to use the reservations calendar in real time). Check out the sample Premium listing to see exactly how this works. Basically you can picture it as a powerful lead generator that siphons the leads directly to your mail box. We are looking into having real time online bookings as a new feature for our premium customers.
Do you offer any discounts for B & B Associations?
At the present time we do not have a listing plan for associations, however plans are already in motion to provide association members the ability to cross reference and communicate from behind the scenes. Our projected date to have this system in place and operational is shortly after the first of the year.
Can I add my recipes if I signup with a free listing?
Unfortunately we do not provide that service as part of the free listing package. The free listing plan is mainly a common courtesy we offer those who cannot afford to signup for a plan but still would like an online presence by being listed in our directory.
I created my business listing but I can't find it on the site?
Most likely you signed up for the free listing which has a waiting period until your information can be verified. Once we have checked out your information and feel it is a viable addition to our directory we will activate your listing and it will be added to the site. This process can take anywhere from 1 - 2 weeks depending how busy we are. This does not apply however to paid listings which are added in real time.
What if I sign up for a paid listing but don't want to renew it next year?
You are under no obligation to renew your annual subscription if you no longer wish to have a paid listing. You will be sent an email notice 15 days prior to your account expires. If you do not wish to renew your subscription simply ignore the email and your account will revert to a free listing status automatically.
Do you plan on raising your prices in the future?
We don't foresee any price increase for quite some time, the only price increase would be optional addon features for those who wish higher visibility.

What does the IDO in IDO-BedAndBreakfast.com mean?
IDO stands for Internet Directory Of which is an ongoing project specializing in online business directories.
How come my receipt says Solo Web Hosting on it?
Solo Web Hosting is the parent company that provides the programming, credit card processing and dedicated server where the directory resides. I guess you could say IDO-BedAndBreakfast.com is a subsidary of Solo Web Hosting, they are one in the same.
Will you be adding a section for B & B's for Sale?
We expect to be adding an Inns for Sale section by the first of the year, as to pricing that is yet to be determined and will be announced at the same time.
